Love Acts facilitates community outreach programs that are continually impacting people's lives for the better. These programs are made possible by the generosity of others who sincerely believe in our mission to be the hands and feet of Jesus in Tarrant county.

3RD SUNDAY MONTHLY OUTREACH
Held every 3rd Sunday of the month at 201 S. Virginia St and E. Vickery corner lot in partnership with Deep Love Ministries Outreach and Freedom in Worship Church. Love Acts offers prayers, encouragement, substance recovery information with invitations to LCTC recovery meetings, bibles, homeless services resource guidance and Love Acts Post Office mail service.

SATURDAY MENTORING OUTREACH
LoveActs volunteers' mentor to people of the local homeless community, providing hope and help.

LIFE CHANGE THROUGH CHRIST
Each week, LoveActs hosts 6 faith-based recovery group meetings to help steer individuals towards personal reconciliation with God, self, family, and community to bring about economic and life change.

TRANSITION TO HOUSING ASSISTANCE
Love Acts volunteer resource guides direct individuals to agencies, resources, and programs that provide pathways to housing. Once a person is accepted into a housing program and scheduled to transition to a new home, Love Acts provides a new Queen-sized bed with mattress, box springs and frame along with other household necessities and furnishings.

EMERGENCY FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
On a case-by-case basis, emergency financial assistance is provided for utilities, rent and car repair bills of individuals and families that have transitioned into housing

COMMUNICATION ASSISTANCE
Love Acts aids members of the Life Change Through Christ fellowship to stay connected with financial assistance with expenses related to cell phone communication.

POINT IN TIME COUNT WITH TCHC
LoveActs provides a volunteer team to help assist with the Tarrant County Homeless Coalition (TCHC) annual point in time count of the homeless population in Tarrant County

GROUP/VOLUNTEER OUTREACH & GUIDANCE
LoveActs coaches and equips volunteers, groups, and churches to be effective in ministry and support to those in need. We provide orientation sessions and guidance to help those with a heart to serve be successful in their efforts

TRANSPORTATION / BUS PASSES
The LoveActs transportation program provides participants with daily and monthly local mass transit passes to pursue employment opportunities, jobs, make it to medical & counseling appointments, Life Change meetings and Church services.

Street and Camp Outreach (SCOUT)
Our experienced street outreach volunteers meet with unsheltered individuals living in camps and on the streets with a goal of making personal connections which could then lead to better accessing needs, providing water and basic living necessities, recommending social services, and in many cases, extending an invitation to our faith-based recovery groups. This volunteer opportunity does require additional training through TCHC (Tarrant County Homeless Coalition). Please click here to contact us if you are interested.
